Top German FinTech Honour

25.03.2015

allpago has just been acknowledged as one of the top German FinTech start-ups.

We came third out of 40 German Fintech companies as recognized by the leading German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung (“SZ”).

allpago was one of the three top start-ups invited to the inaugural SZ German Finance Day which took place recently in Frankfurt. CEO Philipp Bock attended the event and was presented with an award as part of the SZ-Financial Founder Series, marking allpago out as a SZ-German FinTech Founder 2015.

The Frankfurt event was attended by senior politicians, media representatives and members of the business community, and included a speech from the President of the European Central Bank Mario Draghi.

allpago was judged by a SZ-Financial Founder Series jury which selected three FinTech companies as finalists: allpago, ID Now and Zencap. Each of the companies had been ups within the bank, investment and payment sectors. They were judged by the depth of the original idea; the market potential and feasibility of the business concept; and, the experience and knowledge of the management team.
