Based in London, Motie joined PPRO in 2023 as Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for advancing the company’s global commercial strategy. As of October, he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, where he will be leading the business into the next phase of growth and delivering industry-leading payment services for PPRO’s customers and partners.

Motie has over 20 years of experience in payments, having held a number of senior executive positions with renowned companies in the industry. He spent seven years in senior management roles at Worldpay and served as Chief Commercial Officer at payments technology company Nuvei.

Motie is a well-known thought leader in the payments sector, regularly speaking at major conferences and frequently quoted in the media on payments, fintech and e-commerce trends.

Favourite city & why: Has to be London – it was love at first sight – from first time we met 1979 – it has an amazing past, incredible present and promising future.

Based in Berlin, Alexander joined PPRO in 2026 as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for leading technology innovation and delivering world-class infrastructure for PPRO’s customers and partners. In this role, he guides the continued expansion of the company’s technology architecture, focusing on enhancing platform scalability, resilience, and developer experience, while accelerating the strategic adoption of AI.

Alexander has over 20 years of experience in technology and fintech, having held a number of senior executive positions with renowned companies. He spent ten years in technology leadership roles at global fintech platform Adyen, culminating in four years as Chief Technology Officer, and served as Chief Technology Officer at conversational AI platform Parloa.

Alexander is a well-known tech visionary and thought leader in the sector, regularly sharing his expertise in building high-performing engineering organisations and the real-world applications of artificial intelligence.

Michelle is PPRO’s Chief Finance Officer, based in PPRO’s London office. With 20 years of experience, she started her career in healthcare IT while more recently holding senior finance leadership positions at Worldpay and FIS.

Favourite city: The iconic London – while I love to travel and see new places as well enjoy the American countryside where I grew up, I have to say that London was a perfect fit for me from day 1 and has everything to offer from amazing views, roof top terraces, cute little streets, history, as well as green space!

Selene has over two decades of experience in senior financial services positions, including at the open banking infrastructure platform, Yapily, and Open Banking Limited. Selene is PPRO’s Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer, based in PPRO’s London office.

Favourite city: New York City – it’s where I started my legal career and I felt so proud to call it home.

Based in the Berlin office, Attila leads PPRO’s global Product teams, overseeing diverse domains including Local Payments, Cards, Risk, and Cash Flow. With a wealth of experience in payments, he has held pivotal product leadership roles at companies such as Wayfair, Adyen, and viagogo/StubHub. Attila has also played a significant role in shaping industry standards, serving multiple terms as an elected member of the European Advisory Board for the Merchant Risk Council (MRC).

Favourite city & why: Istanbul, my birthplace and the perfect bridge between the orient and the occident.

Eelco joined PPRO in early 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer. Bringing two decades of international sales and payment industry expertise, his track record in steering commercial success will play a key role in propelling PPRO into the next stage of growth. Prior to this, Eelco held senior leadership roles at global payment processors Nuvei and Worldpay. He is based in Antwerp, Belgium.

First job: Working at McDonalds making burgers.

Mariette joined PPRO in early 2024 as Chief Marketing Officer. She is a strategic marketer with 15+ years of B2B marketing experience, primarily within the fintech space, and has expertise working with scaling businesses looking to drive growth in new markets. Mariette headed up Marketing at payment platform FairFX (now Equals Group) and most recently served as CMO at fintech consultancy 11:FS. She is based in Surrey, UK.

First job: Working in the local video store in small town South Africa

Tim has a diverse background spanning investment banking, fintech, and startups, with experience at companies like Revolut and Visa where he’s held high-impact strategic roles. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

First job: Barista in a bakery in Stockholm. Eating freshly baked buns in the mornings over a cup of espresso – still to this day one of the best jobs I’ve ever had

Bronwyn has over twenty years’ experience leading and advising international organisations in cybersecurity and technology. Her background spans technology development, cyber security, compliance, data protection, strategy and operations, across a range of organisations from international banks to FinTech start-ups, scale-ups, and regulatory institutions.

She has a passion for security culture, innovation and improving alignment to address security and fraud-related threats. She’s won numerous industry accolades, including Secure Computing’s Women of Influence Award and is frequently cited in the Top 50 Women in FinTech. She’s a Non-Executive Director and advises a number of FinTechs and RegTechs on security and privacy, strategy and product development. She joined PPRO as Chief Information Security Officer in early 2024 and is based in London.

Favourite city: The Eternal City, Rome. I’m a Classics nerd and fell in love with architecture, archaeology and pasta!

Nicole joined PPRO in December 2024 as Senior Vice President of Commercial for Europe. She is acutely focussed on accelerating sustainable revenue growth for our partners and merchants and joins PPRO with over 16 years payment experience leading international teams of payment experts

She is passionately invested in people development, and a champion for women in fintech, creating opportunities and nurturing talent. Her career highlights include launching the Women’s Mentoring Network, winning BEMSA award as well as presenting at global and industry events including IATA Symposium, A4A and Worldpay’s annual ReThink conference.

First job: non-professional Disney princess, entertaining kid’s birthday parties

Highly experienced global leader with a proven track record in Strategic Partnerships and Enterprise Customer Relationship Management gained throughout an extensive career in the payments industry.
Angela has a reputation for delivering geographic expansion markets and new product developments from concept to implementation by managing complex multi-discipline teams.

Angela leads the Global Payments Partnerships team at PPRO and prior to that she was at Worldpay leading New Market Development and Strategic Partnership teams.

Based in London, Sherief is Head of Strategic Finance at PPRO. He has 20+ years experience in strategic finance, and leading teams and companies through accelerated growth, margin initiatives, and strategic alternatives.

Having worked as a senior HR professional in global organisations including Amazon, the Financial Times, and Wayfair, Claire joined PPRO in 2022, now heading up the People function as People Director.

Ilya is a product and technology enthusiast with over 20 years of experience in IT and a passion for using technology to solve customer challenges. Known for his ability to scale engineering teams and drive innovation, Ilya led engineering at Taxfix, transforming it into a high-performing multi-product, multi-market organisation. Based in our Berlin office, he now heads up our Cashflow, TechOps and Digital Workplace engineering teams as VP Engineering.

First job: Broadcast operator at a radio station.

With over 30 years in Financial Services, including 22 years in payments, Lisa has cultivated deep expertise in the industry, particularly in compliance, which she absolutely loves.

Having lived in five different countries, Lisa has a genuine passion for working with global teams and learning about new cultures and this is evident in her empathic leadership where she excels in building and scaling high performing teams.

Favourite city: Sydney – most beautiful city in the world with a vibrant, cosmopolitan vibe!

As VP of Global New Business, Adrian leads PPRO’s sales organisation across EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific – bringing over 15 years of payments expertise to the challenge of scaling revenue in complex, fast-moving markets. He has a proven track record of building high-performing, revenue-generating teams from the ground up, combining operational rigour with a people-first approach to leadership. Adrian believes the strongest global strategies start with the right teams – and is committed to fostering the kind of culture where individuals grow and commercial ambitions are realised.

First job: I was a shop assistant in a clothing store. Selling from day one.

Jigyasa is PPRO’s VP of Engineering, based in Berlin, leading engineering across PPRO’s core payment domains. She brings over 15 years of engineering leadership experience across B2B SaaS, platform infrastructure, and AI-driven product development at high-growth technology companies. She is passionate about creating engineering cultures where clarity, ownership, and speed go hand in hand, and at PPRO she is focused on strengthening engineering velocity and deepening the connection between technical execution and business outcomes.

Favourite city: Santiago de Chile, because I spent the most memorable year of my life, broke and trying to build my startup in that stunning city surrounded by the beautiful Andes mountains, warm people and amazing food. Waking up on the 24th floor to that view everyday is a core memory and that city will always be my first love.

Elena is PPRO’s VP of Product Management, based in PPRO’s Berlin office. A seasoned leader with over two decades of expertise in financial services technology, she has a proven track record of driving innovation across banking and global payment ecosystems. Elena’s deep industry knowledge and strategic vision are central to evolving PPRO’s product roadmap and delivering world-class payment solutions to our clients.

First job: Dealer in a casino

Mira joined PPRO in early 2024 as Director of Data Engineering and Analytics in our Munich office. With a track record of technical delivery, passion for product, big data, and mentoring, he’s always a student of agile development methods and test-driven development.

Alexander is PPRO’s Group Accounting Director, responsible for Financial Accounting, Group Reporting and the Tax function. A former qualified Wirtschaftsprüfer (Germany’s equivalent of a CPA), he started his career auditing financial institutions before moving into financial leadership roles across the automotive and aviation industries, bringing over a decade of experience. Alexander is passionate about building efficient finance functions and developing future financial leaders, and at PPRO he’s focused on strengthening the financial reporting infrastructure that supports the company’s continued growth.

Favourite city: Munich – it’s home, and I love the mix of Bavarian charm, cosy beer gardens and having the Alps right on the doorstep.

Almir’s professional journey spans 15 years of experience in finance, banking, and treasury across a wide variety of industries, mainly fast pace disruptive sectors like telecom, renewable energy, and fintech. Having worked in companies of various sizes, including roles at Ericsson, BayWa r.e., and Dresdner Bank, he loves being a Treasurer and has a lot of passion for the underlying business and products.

Favourite city: Mostar, the bridge between ast and West; the city where I met and fell in love with my wife.

Deepa Kalikiri is Legal Director at PPRO, based in London (UK). A seasoned legal leader, she oversees PPRO’s legal affairs and operations across different jurisdictions. Deepa manages a multifaceted team responsible for commercial, product, and regulatory legal matters, ensuring robust strategic alignment across the organization. She works closely with PPROs Chief Legal, Risk and Compliance Officer.

Favourite city: Chennai, Paris, and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. It is impossible to pick just one, as each city represents a different chapter of my life where I have spent time and collected many meaningful memories.
