The third HotSale is about to get going in Mexico and merchants need to register now. Once registered, you can offer your clients exclusive discounts and promotions via your websites. This is too good an opportunity to miss and a great chance to boost sales.

The HotSale kicks-off first thing on Monday 30th May and runs through to last thing on Thursday 2nd June. But merchants must be registered to take part. Figures show that the HotSale is the second largest digital sale.

HotSale is the brainwave of the Mexican Association for Online Sale (AMVO) supported by the Mexican Internet Association (AMIPCI) and the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB Mexico). Some of the best known companies will be selling top brands at significant discounts and via exclusive promotions.

This is the third time that HotSale has been organised and the companies behind it focus their efforts on growing e-Commerce throughout Mexico; a market which is growing fast, but which still has a lot of potential. Eric Pérez-Grovas, President of AMVO, told the media that Mexico has the best e-Commerce growth prospects in LATAM. He said: “So you’re seeing that Amazon decided to enter Mexico with a complete offer, not only with a range of digital products.”

In 2014, AMIPCI said that e-Commerce has grown by 34%, representing around 162,000 million pesos.

Figures from VTEX show that Mexico, at 18% market share, is the second largest e-Commerce market in LATAM, but also that it has the greatest potential for growth. Compare Mexico’s share of the market with Brazil, which accounts for 42%.

Merchants taking part in this latest HotSale are looking to boost sales by around 80%. Last year sales were up 98% over the first ever HotSale and its backers hope to achieve similar growth levels this year. In 2015, 488,000 were sold.
