Amazon Pay
Amazon Pay is an e-wallet. It allows customers to pay for goods and services from online shops and in-app using the information already stored in their Amazon account.
During the online check-out, customers select Amazon Pay, sign into their Amazon account and confirm the payment and shipping details already stored on file to complete the payment.
Android handset users in India can also make P2P payments via Amazon Pay. The service uses the instant bank-to-bank transfers via the UPI platform on the localised version of the app. This enables customers to settle bills, make and receive money transfers and pay for services.
It also allows customers to make payments from their bank account to local stores or to Amazon delivery associates at the doorstep, who scan a UPI QR code within the Amazon app.
