MeetingC++

18.12.2014

Close to 350 C++ developers met in Berlin for Meeting C++ on the 5th and 6th of December (http://meetingcpp.com). In 21 talks, two Keynotes and numerous discussions lots of interesting information on current topics of C++ development were exchanged. The continued growth of the community and the strong demand for the students’ program of the conference show that C++ is indeed a language with great future potential.

This is very important for PPRO since all out core components are written in
C++. As one of the first companies of the industry we switched to C++11
C++and
emphasize continuous improvement of our development technology. Our technical expertise is also reflected by the fact that we are the only organization invited to give two talks in the main track of Meeting C++.

My second talk (“Pruning Error Messages From C++ Template Code”) was voted best talk of the conference by C++ Guru and keynote speaker Scott Meyers.
