Troy
Troy is a local Turkish payment card. More than 20 Turkish banks are issuing a range of debit, credit and prepaid Troy cards, which can be used at ATMs and point-of-sale terminals in Turkey and internationally through a co-badging arrangement with Discover Financial Services. Troy cards can also be used online. At checkout, customers enter their Troy card number and confirm the purchase with a one-time PIN issued by their bank. At the end of 2018, there were 7 m TROY cards in circulation, and a 100% acceptance rate among Turkish merchants that accept cards.
