Splitit

Splitit is an instalment solution enabling customers to pay for purchases with an existing debit or credit card by splitting the cost into interest-free monthly payments. At checkout, the customer chooses »Splitit« and the number of instalments. Splitit requests authorisation from the customer’s Visa or Mastercard, reserving the total purchase amount from the customer’s available line of credit. Then, each month, according to the customer’s payment plan, the instalment amount is collected and Splitit requests authorisation for the remaining balance. Splitit is available on web and mobile sites, as well as at participating physical stores.
