Chharo
Chharo is an e-wallet solution from the Bank of Bhutan.
Once the e-wallet is registered, it can be loaded with cards or via accounts at local banks. The e-wallet can then be used to send money to other users as well as to make purchases in-store and online.
Because the e-wallet is tied to a phone number rather than a bank account, the app can also be used by tourists to make purchases in Bhutan.
